Just another slogging blog
I'm entering the 2006 Knitting Olympics next month (go see the yarnharlot's blog from January 14. She's always entertaining. ) so I've set up this blog as part of my training -- a place to keep track of my swatches and designs and frustration and (hopefully) ultimate triumph. Check back in a day or two to see if She Figures Out Photos.
Meanwhile, imagine a Biathalon -- twined knit sleeves and hood of some warm, brown, tweedy Rowan something-or-other wool on a hip length jacket of Woolrich fabric remnants of a geometric in warm natural shades ranging from cream to almost black. At least that's the way I remember it. It'll take an archeologist to dig up this remembered fabric from about 10 years deep in my stash. The yarn should be easier to track down. It's only about 5 years deep.
It's all about the challenge. (The thrill of victory. The agony of defeat?) And striving for something that's ordinarily just a little beyond reach.
